ACC Ltd is planning to set up aa cement plant in Gollapalli in Mylavaram Mandal in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a 5.0 mtpa cement plant, cement grinding unit of 8.0 mtpa, captive power plant of 100 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 42000 million. The coal requirement for the cement plant and power plant is 0.88 MTPA and 1.06 MTPA respectively which will be sourced from Singareni Coalfields (SCCL) in Andhra Pradesh. Lime stone requirement will be met from the captive mine
Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) is planning to set up a 3.0 million tpa cement plant in Andhra Pradesh. The company will make use of 6.0 lakh tonne of fly ash, a million tonne of slag generated from Vizag steel plant. The company has selected a site near Gangavaram port and has appointed a valuer to acquire the land. The company is likely to float a fresh tender to select a developer.
Gowtham Cements Pvt Ltd to set up a cement grinding unit in Pachanpali in Chitoor district of Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 14.4 million. The grinding unit will have a capacity of 150 tpd.
