Mangalam Cement to set up a new unit at Mark in Ramganj Mandi in Kota in Rajasthan. The new unit will have a capacity to produce 1.75 MTPA Clinker, 1.80 MTPA OPC, 2.10 MTPA PPC. The project also involves setting up of a captive power plant at 17.5 MW. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 4371 million. The Cement Plant will be Dry Process and Precalcination technology based and CPP will be Coal based with AFBC Boiler and Air Cooled Condenser system. Raw material requirement would be 6190 TPD of Lime stone, 150 TPD of Blue Dust, Grade Lime stone, 255 TPD of Gypsum, 765 TPD of Fly Ash and 969 TPD of coal. Lime stone will be sourced from the captive mines, high grade Lime stone will be purchased from market and Coal will be taken from SECL & WCL etc.,
Mangalam Cement is planning to set up a Greenfield cement plant in Rajasthan. • The project involves setting up a 1.5 million tpa cement plant at the existing site at Adityanagar, Morak, in Kota district of Rajasthan. The project also involves setting up a 17.5 MW captive power plant. The Rs.7500 million project is to be funded through internal accruals ( Rs.3,000 million ) and debt ( Rs.4500 million). As of August 2009, the company’s board has approved the investment proposal.
